This 1½-hour walking tour will examine how the European Institutions and their buildings arrived in this district and the effect they had on the existing streetscape and residents. The tour will look at the principal buildings associated with the European Institutions, including the European Commission, the Council of Ministers of the EU,

the European Parliament and the European Social & Economic Council.
It will examine how the buildings function and the questions raised by the way they were inserted into an existing, populated townscape. |
