50 years of Europe in Brussels ^walking

This tour recalls the development of the European concept and the impact of its institutions on a previously residential district. It includes the facades of the buildings which house the main EU institutions, including the Commission, the Council of Ministers, the Parliament, the Committee of the Regions and the Economic and Social Committee. While explaining what each institution does, the tour also tries to answer the questions raised by their presence in this part of the city. (time:1h30)
