Charming Place Fontainas, situated in the heart of Brussels center, has been witness of the evolution in urban planning. The square, designed as an open perspective on the central boulevards, was laid out on an island in the Zenne river. Connecting to other neighbourhoods through several streets, it is situated on the edge of the former industrial zone and the old city center, resulting in a diverse urban landscape.
