This guided tour offers a beautiful glimpse of eclectic architecture and allows participants to see the high quality of some typical, less-well-known Brussels decorative features.  

Around the Chaussée de Charleroi, between Ixelles and Saint-Gilles, some streets contain exceptional heritage buildings that remain almost intact, with spectacular groups of facades that allow us to realise the richness and diversity of late-nineteenth-century Brussels architecture. There are houses of all shapes and sizes. Each façade is different, often featuring polychromatic brickwork and finely sculpted stonework. Each house is a masterpiece in itself. It was a golden age for small decorative features.
