In the centre of Place de l’Altitude Cent, the imposing Art Deco tower of St Augustine’s church is a major Brussels landmark. The district around the square was built up in the first half of the twentieth century and contains a very wide variety of buildings and architectural designs, including some beautiful examples of inter-war houses.
