Forest Park is surrounded by a very rich diversity of heritage buildings, including a few very beautiful Art Nouveau facades that would justify a visit in themselves. This guided tour starts at the Villa Beau-Site, with its facade of curves and colours, which is a delightful illustration of the path trodden by some architects at the end of the nineteenth century. The district around the Place de l’Altitude Cent, dominated by the imposing tower of its Art Deco church, offers a beautiful catalogue of houses and apartment buildings constructed in the inter-war period, when Art Deco was omnipresent, Modernism was emerging and the picturesque was never far away.

Tour departs from the corner of Avenue Besme and Avenue du Mont Kemmel
